Nick Cannon announced today that he will be stepping down from his radio show Rollin’ with Nick Cannon on 92.3 NOW. Cannon was hospitalized right after the new year with mild kidney failure & just last week he went into hospital with blood clots on his lungs. Cannon said in a statement today: “Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule.Even Superman has to sleep.”

Nick Cannon has been hospitalized in Aspen, Colo. with “mild kidney failure.” Cannon’s wife Mariah Carey posted the above picture & tweeted: “Please pray for Nick as he’s fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman.” Mariah later took to her website and wrote a post saying: “Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are. We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. … I’m not trying to make light out of the situation because it’s a serious moment that’s very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers.”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will be Introducing there twins to the world tonight on ’20/20′ in a exclusive interview with Barbara Walters. The twins, a boy Moroccan Scott and a girl Monroe were born on April 30th. The 20/20 interview and the first real glimpse of the couple’s babies airs tonight on ABC at 10 p.m.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their wedding anniversary by welcoming their twins. Mariah delivered the babies Saturday at 12:07 p.m. EDT at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles. Mariah’s representative, Cindi Berger, confirmed the births to The Associated Press, saying “The baby girl was born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long; her brother was next, at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches.” Mariah’s rep also told the The Associated Press “The couple has not named the children yet,They were listening to Carey’s “We Belong Together” after the children were born.”

Nick Cannon gave out his & wife Mariah Carey`s phone number Thursday on his radio show, the reason for giving the number is cause Nick will be taking some time off when the twins arrive any day now & wanted his fans to be able to keep in touch with him. Cannon took to his Twitter a few seconds later saying “I gave out the number because I will be going on Paternity Leave soon and I wanted to stay in contact with my listeners, he also said My wife is going to kill me over this, Thanks to my amazing wife for being a good sport and allowing me to make good radio. @MariahCarey you are the best! I will not be posting the number here on this website out of my respect for Mariah, if you want that number that bad you can find it on line.
