Country singer Miranda Lambert is set to make her acting debut on an upcoming episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,’ TVGuide.com confirmed today. Lambert will play an actress who claims to have been sexually assaulted by a reality show producer. Miranda said on her Twitter this afternoon “Yall I’m so freaking excited to be on my favorite show ever !!!” No air date has been given yet for Lambert’s episode.

Country singers Miranda Lambert and Blake Shleton got married Saturday evening in Texes. According to US Weekly Miranda wore her mother’s wedding dress & some of the 550 guests including Martina McBride and Reba McEntire along with family and friends. Miranda said in a statement to US Weekly after the wedding “I’m married to my best friend, looking forward to a lifetime of laughter.” Shelton also released a statement “I wanted to be married to Miranda the day I proposed. Finally, it’s official!”
