Army veteran and former “All My Children” actor J.R. Martinez and pro dance partner Karina Smirnoff have won Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars. This is Karina’s first mirror-ball trophy win in her ten season’s on the show.
Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke landed in second place, while Ricki Lake and Derek Hough were eliminated in the first round of tonight’s show.
Season 14 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ returns on Monday March 19th 2012.

Last night the cast on Dancing with the Stars had to base there dances on the most memorable year of there life. Soldier turned actor J.R. Martinez performed an emotional rumba dedicated to U.S. military personnel who didn’t make it home & shared his story of suffering burns to more than 40 percent of his body after driving over an Iraq landmine when he was 19. J.R. & professional dance partner Karina Smirnoff preformed there rumba to Tim McGraw’s ‘If You’re Reading This’, a song about a letter a serviceman wrote to his family before he died in combat.
Brings me to tears everything I watch, best dance in my opinion in 13 season of the show. I have so much respect for J.R. Martinez!
