Are comeback of the year is Canadian singer Shania Twain, 2011 was the year of Shania!
Shania started 2011 off marrying Frederic Thiebaud on Saturday January 1st, 2011, in Puerto Rico.
In March Shania was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2011 Juno Awards.
On May 3rd Shania released her autobiography ‘From this Moment on’, she did a seven date book tour and appeared on several tv shows during the month of May.
On May 8th Shania’s show “Why Not? with Shania Twain” aired on OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network)
On June 3rd Shania got her Star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
Also in June Shania released her first single and music video in six years “Today Is Your Day.”
At at a news conference in Nashville in June Shania announced a two-year residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The show will be called “Still The One” and will start on December 1st 2012, Shania will do 60 shows a year.
2011 also saw Shania record duets with Lionel Richie & Michael Bublé. Shania recorded ‘Endless Love’ with Lionel Richie and record ‘White Christmas with Bublé for his Christmas album.
